BNP-Paribas-Open-Women’s-Singles-Players-list-2015

Bright and early tomorrow morning, I will be headed from Atlanta to LAX for several days of incredible tennis experiences at the 2015 BNP Paribas Open.

I’ve only been to this tournament one other time: in 2012 just a few months after starting ParentingAces. I was there as a fan, pure and simple, and had an absolute blast! I did very little work that time, focusing mainly on meeting some of my cyber-connections face-to-face and trying to stay warm and dry during what was an uncharacteristically rainy weekend.

This year I will be doing a bit more work – a little writing, hopefully a little broadcasting – and lots of networking. I’ll be at the tournament starting Wednesday morning and will stay through Sunday, maybe even catching a match or two Monday, too, before I head home. If you’re not already, please be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram so you can share in the experience.

I’m bummed I’ll miss the college event this year (it starts after I leave), but there will be plenty of tennis going on to keep me busy. Lucky for me, my daughter lives in the LA area and is planning to drive out to Indian Wells over the weekend and get a taste of her mom’s obsession. There are worse places to hone your knowledge of tennis, right?!?

If you’re going to be out there and have a few minutes to meet up, I would love to connect! I’ll be the one wearing the ParentingAces t-shirt and the huge smile!
