Big Day for Americans & Collegians, Day 9

The college guys had a good night. The college (and American) gals, not so much.

Bob and Mike Bryan rolled through their opponents in straight sets to start the day yesterday. At 39 years old, these guys continue to boggle my mind with their athleticism, creativity, and just overall commitment to the sport. In their post-match interview, they intimated that they are in the twilight of their careers and are making a big push to go out with a bang. “As far as the tournament goes, we’re getting better every match, which is a great thing,” they said. “We’re putting ourselves in contention to win this title and that’s what we come down here for.”
