TeamUSA is flexing its muscle in Grenoble France at the BNP Paribas Master’U. Seeking its 8th championship, the team is off to a solid start, beating Belgium 6-1 in yesterday’s play. Coaches Greg Patton and Amanda Augustus seem to have their players well-prepared as they move into today’s semifinals.

Here is Coach Patton’s take on Day 1: Today was a long rich tennis day. Our talented & amazing 6 American collegiate players are on a quest to win our 8th World championship in the past ten years at the Master’s U in Grenoble, France. Great match with exhilarating tennis against an always fantastic Belgium team. Team USA goes victorious with a 6-1 victory. Saturday we play Ireland who upset #4 China in the semifinals.
