Stanford UTR College Prospect Camp

I know this is totally last-minute, but I saw a link to the following article on Twitter this morning and wanted to pass along the information to the ParentingAces Community (with UTR’s permission, of course!), especially for those of you with Junior Players in High School who want to play College Tennis. Please note that even though the original article shows the event as Free, there is a $349 cost to attend.

DESCRIPTION

Train and compete at the first ever Stanford Tennis UTR College Prospect Camp at the Taube Tennis Center on Saturday, December 14, 2019.

Directed by Paul Goldstein – Stanford Men’s Tennis Head Coach and Staff

This one-day training event is OPEN to ALL Junior players. First 44 Players to sign up will be accepted.

Camp Cost is $349 — PLAYERS MUST REGISTER FIRST ON UTR FIRST ( https://www.myutr.com/events/15045?t=0 ) TO SECURE YOUR PLACE, THEN MAKE PAYMENT AT THE BELOW LINK: https://campscui.active.com/orgs/StanfordMensTennis?season=2749604

All players will have the opportunity to interact, train and compete in front of the Stanford Coaching Staff and some of the top collegiate players in the country!

Players will receive Verified UTR Singles/Doubles Match Play using the College Tennis scoring rules. Teams and matches will be created by UTR.

SCHEDULE

8:30 – 9am: Player check-in and welcome from coaching staff

9 – 9:30am: Dynamic warm-up

9:30am – 12:00pm: On-court drilling and situational play

12:00 – 1:00pm: Lunch for parents/players with College Presentation from Paul Goldstein/Staff & Player testimonials/tips to juniors

1 – 1:30pm: Warm-up and College Doubles Strategy

1:30 – 4:30pm: College dual match Verified UTR Match Play

4:30 – 4:45pm: Wrap-up and camp review

Lunch will be provided.

All activities on the itinerary are included with registration cost.
