Player Development the Argentine Way with Pierre Arnold & Todd Widom Over the weekend, I headed north to Newport to watch Day 1 of the final weekend of the ITA Fall Circuit powered by UTR. What a treat to see professional players, college players, and junior players on court together! The level of play was absolutely incredible.
Today is the final day of play. For results, go to myUTR.com. You will notice there are 3 separate singles draws for both the men and women – that many players wanted to play! And there’s some nice prize money available to the winners which is a great perk.
Tournament Director, Sean Bollettieri-Abdali, took a few minutes to talk with me about the event and what he’s seeing in the field in terms of junior development, college recruiting, and play opportunities.
