Helpful Products & Services 8/25/21

Lately, I’ve come across several new Tennis Products and Services – via Facebook and elsewhere – that could be helpful to Tennis Families and Tennis Coaches. Rather than open up our ParentingAces Tennis Group on Facebook to advertising-type posts, I’m going to do a weekly (or bi-weekly, as needed) article to let you know about these items and services.

You can search for all articles in this series by clicking on the search icon on the right side of the menu bar at the top of the page and using search term “helpful products & services”.

If available, you’ll be able to click the name of the product or service provider to go to the website or to email them directly for more information.

For our first week, here’s what we’ve got for you:

Project Elite:

Project Elite is a program dedicated to providing Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) opportunities to college tennis players across the country. Project Elite will provide players paid chances to promote the sport, build their brands, and much more!
Ohio State University Women’s Tennis’s Isabelle Boulais and Ohio State University Men’s Tennis’s Cannon Kingsley are the  first two Cracked Racquets athletes. They both joined the Cracked Interviews Podcast to discuss their new gigs, life as a student-athlete and so much more. Cannon Kingsley: apple.co/3Bb0ppr  spoti.fi/3gs7LNk. Isabelle Boulais: apple.co/3gKOp6n spoti.fi/3y6bK8c.
To learn more about Project Elite, check out project-elite.com, email [email protected] or DM Dalton Thieneman / Cracked Racquets.

GripMD:

We recently did a podcast with the founders of this great new product to help players perfect their grip. You can find the podcast at The Importance of Proper Grip ft. Mark Merklein & Matt Daly. To see the GripMD in action, check out this new video produced by professional player, Jordan Belga (who was also on our podcast Jordan Belga’s Complicated Relationship with Tennis): https://fb.watch/7ADn7-orie/.

Javier Llanes:

Javier is a Tennis Coach in the Chicago land area. He also works with players on their strength and conditioning for tennis. Javier played semi-pro and college tennis. If any Tennis Parent needs advice, send him an email at [email protected]. You can also follow him on Facebook and Instagram.

American College Placement:

ACP is a boutique mentoring and recruiting service for student-athletes who want to find the right college fit. They work with prospects from grades 9-12. It starts by educating and empowering the prospect to engage in the recruiting process. ACP works together with the athlete to introduce him/her/them to a wide variety of options and quality coaches. Next, they ensure proper preparation for calls, unofficial visits, official visits, and the negotiation of financial aid. All this is accomplished by advocating for each prospect in a way that is personal and genuine. For more information, follow ACP on Facebook and Instagram.
