This year’s Australian Open field is jam packed with both American players as well as former college players which makes things pretty exciting from my perspective. Unfortunately, Day 1 was a major downer for most of them. Americans overall went 3 and 13. Collegians went 2 and 5.

Here’s what’s happened so far:
