Exciting Changes Ahead!

Share

For the past 7 and a half years, I have enjoyed creating and sharing tennis information with y’all through this website and our related podcast and social media channels.

It all started during my son’s freshman year in high school as a result of my own frustration. I wanted – no, I needed! – information to help my son navigate the ins and outs of the junior tennis journey and college recruiting, but that information was extremely difficult to find and access.

I began sharing my son’s journey as well as my journey as the primary Tennis Parent in hopes of helping other families facing similar challenges. Throughout my son’s junior and college tennis years, I traveled to tournaments and other related events to watch him play, so it was pretty easy for me to report back to y’all. Once his college tennis “career” was complete, the travel became a bit more difficult to justify. That’s when I added the PayPal Donation option to the website (thank you so much to those of you who clicked!).

My involvement in tennis has morphed quite a bit since the inception of ParentingAces, and I feel it’s time to expand the offerings through a ParentingAces Membership. To that end, the website will be reconfigured a bit. There will still be plenty of content available free of charge, but, as of April 15th, joining the site will be a pre-requisite for viewing that content. Please note: ParentingAces will neither share nor sell members’ personal information to any outside parties.

ParentingAces will also work with a variety of partners to host in-person and web-based information sessions, workshops, and camps. Registration for these events will be open to ParentingAces Members first and will then open to the public at a later date. However, membership will be required for registration and attendance.

We will offer 3 different membership options beginning April 15, 2019:

My hope is this new structure will enable me to provide even more valuable content to y’all in the form of articles, podcasts, webinars, and camps. By becoming a member, you will be among the First To Know so you can do an even better job in your role as Tennis Parent, Tennis Coach, or Tennis Player!

Thank you for your continued support of ParentingAces! And, as always, please share our articles, podcasts, and social media channels with the tennis families in your life!
