Day One: Atlanta to LaGuardia

Atlanta, GA

After packing our bags at home, Michelle and Morgan picked us up, and we all headed to the Atlanta airport for our 7:25pm flight to LaGuardia. Of course, our takeoff was delayed, supposedly due to traffic problems in NYC, so the girls got some bbq sandwiches to tide them over. We finally boarded, had an uneventful flight, and arrived around 10:30pm. Our bags came right off, and we got a cab to our hotel. After checking in, we ordered salads and sandwiches from a neighborhood deli that had free delivery. Then, we looked out the window of our 29th-floor room and could see the Chrysler Building all lit up – it was spectacular! Off to bed to rest up for a full day tomorrow . . .
