Tennis on Main is excited to announce the 2nd Annual American Clay Court Nationals to be held at historic Hanes Park in Winston-Salem, NC. The 2020 events that were held at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV and Centercourt Tennis Academy in Chatham, NJ, were both premier, well-attended, highly competitive UTR events for the year.

For 2021, we are combining all age groups, having Boys & Girls 12s – 18s all in Winston-Salem at Hanes Park, former location of the Boys 12s USTA National Clay Courts.

*Registration deadline is June 4 11:30pm EDT; first day of each tournament is set aside for any qualifying rounds that need played; main draw begins on Friday*

This year’s event will continue to be unique, offering the following, among many other features:
• $10K Prize Money event ($2500 per age group)
• Round robin match play in singles and a first round consolation draw for doubles. Players qualifying for the main draw will play a minimum of 3 singles matches (2 out of 3 tiebreak sets) and a minimum of 2 doubles matches. An exciting addition to this event, is the allowance of coaching.
• Players will enjoy a swag bag, official tournament t-shirt and other tournament amenities.
• Kevin Fleck, Director of the Forsyth Tennis Academy at Hanes Park, will provide on-site stringing and warm up lesson and clinic opportunities for tournament participants.

With no USTA national level events in the month of June, this is an amazing opportunity to get high level competition in an engaging and unique format.

CONTEST FOR ACADEMIES / CLUBS / COACHES:  

The academy / coach / club that has the most players represented in each week (both age groups combined) will receive an award!  We are working with a few different sponsors on this and will update the award details soon!  1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be awarded!
